FASHION HAUTE COUTURE OUTFIT’S SECRETS

The most glamorous of the Incroyables and Merveilleuses

Chapitre 22, The most glamorous of the Incroyables and Merveilleuses

This second look from the Last Queen Haute Couture collection is composed of three mismatched pieces.

A men’s double-breasted jacket in vintage 1940s prince de galles, khaki and fine blue stripes, embroidered with a cane motif in bronze and silver crystal tubes adorned with wisteria embroidery with a 3D effect in gradient silk.

Coordinating men’s vest.

The men’s tuxedo pants are high-waisted with large flat pleats in bronze wool serge.

The ensemble is worn over a lavaliere blouse with ruffled sleeves and ruched effect, in silk chiffon printed with eighteenth-century floral motifs and grand century gold jacquard patterns.

The earrings and Ex-Voto brooch are in crystallized gunmetal. In the center, a mysterious cabochon is in faceted pink-changing emerald crystal.

A heart pendant is in aurora borealis crystal.

The ebony rabane bicorne hat is accessorized with a feather arrow.

Anna Druzyaka is one of the Incroyables and merveilleuses who takes the masculine attributes of the fallen court and turns them into a revolutionary Parisian look.

Let’s salute the impeccable cut of the pants made by Jacqueline Eme, in the workshops of Maison Julien Fournié Haute Couture.

Nicolas Degennes intensified Anna’s blue eyes with a strong, defined eyebrow. Her mouth is magnified by a touch of soft pink lipstick applied with a finger for a natural effect.

Jack from Neville Salon worked Anna’s hair into big Hollywood curls on one side, reminiscent of actress Veronica Lake’s hairstyle.

Thanks to Ekaterina Grangier, a talented milliner, for this bicorne made in the Artnuptia workshops.
