Julien Fournié is a French couture fashion designer from Paris. Fashion designer Julien Fourniér is the son of a Castilian mother and a French father. His grandparents were tanners, and one of his grandmothers was a lingerie seamstress and corset maker. At the age of three, the designer’s favorite toy was pencil and drawing.

The fashion designer studied medicine and earned a degree in Biology. After two years, the designer studied fashion design at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne where he graduated in 2000. In the same year, the designer was awarded the Möet & Chandon Prize for best accessories at Paris Fashion 2000. The designer worked as an assistant couture designer for major French brands such as Alexander McQueen Céline, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Jean Paulo Gaultier, Nina Ricci, where he obtained many experiences and a great learning in the fashion world.

In late summer 2003, at the age of 28, the designer was recruited by the French fashion house Torrente as style director for their prêt-à-porter collections. In early September, before his first show for the French fashion house Torrente took place, the management committee voted to appoint him as creative director. Since then, the designer has taken over the duties of Madame Rose Torrente-Mett.

After advising several prêt-à-porter brands in Asia, and particularly in South Korea, as well as in the accessories fields in France of former designer Charles Jourdan. In early 2008, the designer was appointed as creative director at another French house, Ramosport, a Parisian brand specializing in the casual chic line for women and men. When the Ramosport brand was bought as a company by Groupe Georges Rech in September 2008, the designer decided it was time to create his own brand.

In 2010, the designer was awarded for one of his hand-painted dresses by the Grand Prix of Creation of the City of Paris. In January 2011, the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, granted the French designer Julien Fournié guest member status, which allowed his company to participate in the Paris Haute Couture fashion week.

In January 2017, designer Julien Fournié was granted full official status as a Paris Haute Couture brand, which is a protected label in France that only 16 houses worldwide can legally use and has 108,000 followers on Instagram. Julien Fournié é uma estilista francês de alta-costura de Paris, nascido no dia 19/04/1975, em Paris, na França e tem 47 anos. O estilista Julien Fourniér é filho de mãe castelhana e pai francês. Os seus avós eram bronzeadores, e uma de suas avós era costureira de lingerie e fabricante de espartilhos. Aos três anos de idade, o brinquedo favorito do estilista era o lápis e o desenho. O estilista estudou medicina e obteve diploma em Biologia. Depois de dois anos, o estilista estudou design de moda na Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne onde se formou no ano de 2000. No mesmo ano, o estilista foi premiado com o Prêmio Möet & Chandon de melhores acessórios na Paris Fashion 2000. O estilista trabalhou como designer assistente de alta-costura para as grandes marcas francesas como Alexander McQueen Céline, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Jean Paulo Gaultier, Nina Ricci, onde obteve muitas experiências e um grande aprendizado no mundo da moda. No final do Verão de 2003, aos 28 anos de idade, o estilista foi recrutado pela casa de moda francesa Torrente como diretor de estilo para as suas coleções de prêt-à-porter. No início do mês de setembro, antes de seu primeiro desfile para a casa de moda francesa Torrente ter ocorrido, o comitê de gestão votou para nomeá-lo como diretor criativo. Desde então, o estilista assumiu os deveres da Madame Rose Torrente-Mett. Depois de aconselhar várias marcas de prêt-à-porter na Ásia, e particularmente na Coréia do Sul, bem como nos campos de acessórios na França do ex-estilista Charles Jourdan. No início de 2008, o estilista foi nomeado como diretor criativo em outra casa francesa, a Ramosport, uma marca parisiense especializada na linha casual chic feminina e masculina. Quando a marca Ramosport foi comprada como uma empresa pelo Groupe Georges Rech em setembro de 2008, o estilista decidiu que era hora de criar a sua própria marca. Em 2010, o estilista foi premiado por um de seus vestidos pintados à mão pelo Grande Prêmio da Criação da Cidade de Paris. Em janeiro de 2011, a Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, concedeu o status de membro convidado do estilista francês Julien Fournié, o que permitiu que a sua empresa participasse da semana de moda de Alta-Costura de Paris.
