Chloé Chaume and Héloïse Mas were in Julien Fournié Haute Couture in front of some 8000 spectators of the Théâtre antique d’Orange, during the Musiques en fête opening of the Chorégies d’Orange 2022. This program, presented by Judith Chaine and Cyril Féraud, was broadcast on France 3 and simultaneously on France Musique.

The two sopranos interpreted “The Duet of the Cats”, a piece generally attributed to Gioachino Rossini but which was not, in fact, written by him, but consists of a compilation written in 1825 taking up, among other things, passages of his opera of 1816 Otello. They were accompanied by the National Orchestra of Cannes under the direction of Didier Benetti.

Since 2011, Musiques en fête has become the unmissable event of the beginning of the summer, the kick-off of the Chorégies d’Orange season. The Chorégies d’Orange is the oldest French festival since 1869.

Chloé Chaume wore a bias cut white silk drape dress with gold moon metalwork from the First Bliss Haute Couture collection.

Héloïse Mas wore a dress from the First Storm Haute Couture collection in silk gauze encrusted with silk organza skittles and worn over a black and white sequin embroidered nightie with tartan pattern, religiously pleated bib and black silk lavaliere bow.

The soprano sang, in duet with Marc Scoffoni, a piece of The Merry Widow of Franz Lehar: “Heure exquise”. She was accompanied by the National Orchestra of Cannes under the direction of Luciano Acocella.

Soprano singer Erminie Blondel participated, on Friday July 30, in a Gala Lyrique at the Vichy Opera. This is unique place in France. A bulding with its “Art Nouveau” architecture which presents a decoration declined in a harmony of gold, ivory and yellow .

From 1901 to 1964, Vichy was the “summer capital of music”. Every renowned artist had to perform there. This “golden age” of the city was rediscovered at the Vichy Opera, on the occasion of a lyric and symphonic gala.

A three-part gala featured works from the French, German and Italian repertoires : La Traviata by Verdi, Roméo et Juliette by Gounod and Manon by Massenet.

The singers were accompanied by 70 musicians from the Orchester national de Lyon.

Erminie Blondel wore two Julien Fournié Haute Couture dresses.

The second, from the First Bliss Haute Couture collection, is a backless mystery dress in chocking pink silk faille.
