Opening of the exhibition “Haute Couture un point c’est tout!”

The Haute Couture un point c’est tout! exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of Paula Wallace, President and Founder of SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) and many guests and friends including actress Déborah François, model Michaela Tomanova, artist Ashley Scott…

This exhibition, which runs until June 11 at SCAD Lacoste. – the first dedicated to Julien Fournié -, highlights the skills and know-how that have earned him the exclusive prestige of Haute Couture.

“With the organization of this exhibition by SCAD FASH, my view of my work has changed,” said Julien Fournié at the opening night.

Textile sculptures

“Haute Couture is art to wear”

“Before seeing the exhibition, I would never have imagined myself an artist. Haute Couture is art-to-wear. I never wanted to create fashion, I just wanted to imagine characters like when I was a little child alone in his room trying to create a world where other people could understand him.
