The Deep Purple Pluton is Julien Fournié’s clutch in Deep Purple mirror-effect coated canvas shot through with micro-glitter, carrying the Hexagon monogram. It was introduced at the First Shield Haute Couture show. It measures 27 cm wide and 8 cm high, and just 0.5 cm thick when empty. It stays slim on its own, yet opens up to hold a large smartphone, keys and a wallet.

Materials and craftsmanship

The coated canvas carries the exclusive Hexagon monogram designed by Julien Fournié. Purple grained calf leather panels give it structure, and a removable purple calf leather wrist strap lets you carry it by hand or at the wrist. The hardware is matte gunmetal. Inside, a zipped pocket sits in a poly-cotton lining, and the Julien Fournié logo is hot-stamped in silver. Stitching and edges are finished to couture standards in workshops selected by the Maison.
