The partners of the Maison Julien Fournié
There are only a few beverages that can match with Haute Couture. Moutai is a Chinese spirit whose tradition and know-how can fearlessly compete with the craftsmanship of Haute Couture. Even before defining a collaboration that has yet to be invented, Julien Fournié forges links with the people in charge of producing this elixir, which has become a symbol of success, and who have been able to preserve, adapt, and pass on manufacturing secrets that were born barely a few millennia ago.
Adrian Colin is THE Glass Artist in France. Based in Dinan, he met with Julien Fournié, first to sculpt in glass reflections and shades the incredible harness necklace which the grand couturier had imagined for his “First Love” Haute Couture collection Mermaid look presented in January 2022. They are collaborating together regularly and have even created together a new line of necklaces under the label “Adrian Colin X Julien Fournié”
There are few craftsmen of knitwear in France who match this talented young man’s level of creativity. Aloys Picaud tortures his knitting machines to get all the possible fibers through them, recreates fur effects, including sequins, and imagines incredible jacquards and intarsias. It was when he received him to see his samples that Julien Fournié began to collaborate with him. Together, they first created a skirt for the “First Spell” collection, then a mixed metallic fiber bolero for the “First Storm” collection, before including for “First Creatures” velvet threads, together with micro-sequins for a breathtaking evening dress.
Sfate & Combier
“We offer the thinnest silk chiffon in the world,” says Philippe Delfosse, Managing Director of the House, whose mechanical weaving workshop is located in Doissin, near Lyon (France). This is not the only marvel offered by this company which perpetuates the know-how of Lyon silk manufacturers. Their cut-yarn jacquards combine industrial precision with the know-how of handicraft.
“The origins of the manufacturing secrets by Sfate & Combier were born at the same time as Haute Couture, more than a century and a half ago,” declares Julien Fournié. “Since then, this House has continued to offer the best of 100% Made in France tradition and innovation. This is our favorite supplier of woven fabrics in luxury fibers.”
Founded in the first half of the 19th century, Guigou was born in the tradition of Lyon-based silk manufacturers with a particular expertise in jerseys and 3D knits. Based in Saint-Rambert-d’Albon, its ultra-modern factory impresses with its machines for circular knits in particular. Also mastering (via the factory in the same group, located in Prades, in Ardèche the milling, dyeing and finishing processes of continuous yarns in silk, viscose and Lurex, Guigou offers on these materials an entirely French transformation from yarns to finished materials.
“With Guigou’s creative teams, we can imagine jerseys which, in addition to the superb Guigou collections for each season, are giving an exclusive character to my Haute Couture collections,” says Julien Fournié. “The collaboration with this dynamic team is close and fruitful. Guigou never refuses any creative idea, their team improves it! ”.
In 2012, on the occasion of his first fashion show at Fide Fashion Week in Singapore, with which Neville’s hairdressers were partnering, Julien Fournié was able to meet the lady who leads this outstanding team, Elena Lavagni. Impressed by the work of these great hair artists, he immediately decided to ask them if they could collaborate on all the Julien Fournié Haute Couture fashion shows. They have magnified Julien Fournié’s textile creations of the season at every Haute Couture fashion show since. “With them, we talk a lot about silhouettes,” says Julien, “and I need their eye and their hands to bring our dreams to life on the catwalk.”
First of all, an artist, Nicolas Degennes has followed Julien Fournié since the couturier’s very beginnings. With him, Julien Fournié defines each season the make-up for his collections. But Nicolas Degennes never separates textures from scents: they are a full part of the beauty in a person, just as in an inhabited location. Nicolas Degennes is now offering a full line of scented candles under his name. A chosen fragrance from this exceptional range gives each Julien Fournié fashion show its essential olfactive atmosphere.
Precious Room by Muriel Piaser
Muriel Piaser and Julien Fournié have known each other for quite a few years. As soon as Julien Fournié has teamed up with Adrian Colin to produce a line of glass necklaces,, they found the opportunity to collaborate with her. They knew that Precious Room by Muriel Piaser would be the best place to meet buyers in this competitive sector. Feel free to visit the Palais Vivienne on July 5th and 6th, 2022 to discover their marvels among other great brands discovered by this enthusiast of style and precious adornments with legendary and communicative enthusiasm.
PUBG MOBILE is a Battle Royale mobile game created independently by Lightspeed & Quantum Studios of Tencent Games, officially licensed by PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS. It was released globally in March 2018. Built with Unreal Engine 4, PUBG MOBILE is also a hub that connects players from all over the world and a brand that encourages players to live to their fullest.
Julien Fournié meets the game managers at the end of 2020. Mutually seduced by the creative skills in both companies, they start to collaborate in 2021 with a symbolic action: Julien Fournié is the jury in the global fashion design competition for avatars created by players, before he provides, exclusively in the game, for the 2021 holiday season, two complete sets of clothing and accessories inspired by the famous tale, “The Nutcracker.”
In January 2022, for the first time, the last two Haute Couture silhouettes for the Julien Fournié collection entitled “First Love” are offered directly to players for their avatars in PUBG MOBILE, the real, first and best Battle Royale game…
