Quick Guide – Key Sales

Who can buy: Only private consumers of legal age.
Prices: All prices are displayed in euros (€). For orders shipped outside the European Union, local taxes and import duties may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Payment: Charged once your order is confirmed. Made-to-order items require immediate payment.
Orders: Not final until you receive a shipping confirmation. We may refuse or cancel orders (e.g., fraud, unavailability, invalid address).
Products: Photos are illustrative; rely on written descriptions. Quantities may be limited.
Customs: You must check local import rules. We are not liable for customs delays, refusals, or seizures. No refunds if blocked.

1. These General Conditions of Sale (“General Terms”) set forth the terms and conditions under which Julien Fournié SAS, a company incorporated under the laws of France with its registered office at 47 rue de Paradis, 75010 Paris, France (“Julien Fournié,” “we,” “us,” “our”), sells, and under which the consumer (“you,” “your”) purchases, products offered by Julien Fournié (“Products”) through the website www.julienfournie.com (the “Website”).

2. These General Terms shall govern and apply to any contract for the sale of Products concluded between Julien Fournié and you through the Website (the “Contract”).

3. The sale of Products under these General Terms is strictly limited to consumers, meaning natural persons acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft, or profession, and not for profit. You must have reached the age of majority and possess full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your country of residence.

4. Prior to placing any order, you will be required to expressly accept these General Terms as well as the Terms of Use of the Website. You are strongly advised to read these documents carefully and to retain or print a copy for your records. If you do not agree to these General Terms and our Privacy Policy, you will not be permitted to order Products from the Website.

5. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to amend, update, or replace these General Terms, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice. The most current version will always be published on the Website, with the “last updated” date indicating the effective date of such changes.

6. Information relating to our Products and their applicable prices is available on the Website.

7. Images of Products displayed on the Website are provided for illustrative purposes only and may not accurately reflect the actual appearance of the Products. Variations in color, fabric, shade, grain, or texture may occur due to screen settings or other factors. You shall therefore rely exclusively on the written description of the Products and their characteristics as set forth on the Website.

8. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to limit the quantities and/or types of Products available for purchase per person, per household, or per order. Such restrictions may apply to orders placed under the same customer account, using the same payment method, and/or orders with identical billing and/or shipping addresses.

9. We may, at any time and without notice, modify or discontinue any Product or any of its features as described on the Website. Should your order be affected by such unavailability, you will be informed during the purchasing process.

10. In the event of a connection failure to the Website, your Product selection may be lost. In such case, you will be required to re-enter your selection. Please note that Products placed in your shopping cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers. Under no circumstances shall we be held liable for the unavailability of a Product resulting from a connection failure or loss.

11. Prices of Products are indicated on the Website in euros (€) and exclude any applicable sales taxes or duties outside the European Union. Prices displayed in U.S. dollars or other currencies are for indicative purposes only and reflect the exchange rate at the time of your visit. All payments must be made in euros.

12. If you order from a country outside the European Union, any applicable import duties, taxes, or charges are not included in the price displayed on the Website. Such duties, taxes, or charges are your sole responsibility and must be paid in full before delivery of your purchase can occur.

12 BIS. Certain countries, including the United States, have imposed stricter import regulations on foreign goods. You are solely responsible for verifying the applicable import requirements with the competent authorities in your country prior to placing an order. Maison Julien Fournié shall bear no responsibility or liability for any customs delays, refusals, seizures, or other issues arising from non-compliance with such regulations. In the event of a customs hold, refusal, or blockage, no refund, replacement, or compensation shall be provided under any circumstances.

13. We make every reasonable effort to ensure that all prices displayed on the Website are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur, including typographical or pricing errors.

14. We reserve the right to modify the prices of Products at any time and without notice. Such changes shall not affect orders for which you have already received an order acceptance.

15. The information relating to Products and their prices displayed on the Website constitutes an invitation to treat and does not represent a binding offer by us.

16. To purchase Products on the Website, you must follow the online purchase process, which includes: selecting Products, completing the order form with accurate personal information (name, address, email, telephone, billing/shipping address), selecting a payment method, accepting these General Terms and the Terms of Use, and submitting your order.

17. Before submitting your order, you will have the opportunity to review your selection, verify the total price, and correct any errors.

18. All orders submitted by you are subject to our acceptance. Once you place your order, you will receive an acknowledgment email (“Order Confirmation”). This acknowledgment does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse any order, in whole or in part, without liability. Grounds for refusal may include, but are not limited to: unavailability of Products; failure to meet eligibility requirements; excessive quantities ordered; inability to obtain payment authorization; suspected fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized activity; invalid delivery address; or failure to comply with obligations under a prior contract with us.

19. The Contract between you and us shall be deemed concluded only upon our issuance of an email confirming shipment of your order (“Order Acceptance”). The Order Acceptance (or rejection) will be sent to the email address provided by you. Details of accepted orders are available under the “My Account” section of the Website.

20. In the event of unavailability of one or more Products ordered, we will notify you accordingly. The order will be partially cancelled, and you will only be charged for the available Products.

21. The Order Confirmation/Acceptance will include, at minimum, the order number, basic information on the purchased Products, the applicable price, and the shipping address.

22. Once you have received the Order Acceptance, your order may no longer be cancelled or modified, except as expressly provided in these General Terms. Dispatched Products may, however, be returned in accordance with the provisions set forth below.

23. From time to time, we may invite you to pre-order certain selected Products before they are available for general purchase (“Pre-Order Products”). The thirty (30) day delivery period set forth below shall not apply to Pre-Order Products. An estimated delivery date will be communicated to you upon confirmation of your pre-order.

23 BIS. Certain Products may be available exclusively on a made-to-order basis. You will be informed of the estimated lead time at the time of placing your order. Notification will be provided within one (1) business day. Should you not accept the lead time, you may request an immediate refund.

23 TER. From time to time, Maison Julien Fournié may organize Private Sales or special promotional events (including, without limitation, Black Friday offers) for a limited duration and on selected Products. Access to Private Sales is restricted and subject to specific conditions determined for each event. Discounts apply only to the Products expressly listed for each Private Sale. We reserve the right to refuse any order that does not comply with the applicable conditions. Products purchased during Private Sales or promotional events are final sale and may not be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

24. You are required to pay the full price of the Products (including applicable VAT within the European Union).

25. Payments are accepted exclusively in euros (€).

26. Your payment will not be debited until we have confirmed availability of the Products, issued an Order Acceptance, received authorization from your card issuer, and verified your payment details.

27. If your payment cannot be processed for any reason, your order will be cancelled, and the Contract will be deemed terminated immediately, without liability to you. You will be notified by email.

28. You are solely responsible for any charges or fees applied by your card issuer, bank, or payment institution in connection with the processing of your payment.

29. For each order, we will issue an electronic invoice, which you expressly agree to receive in such format. The e-invoice will be based on the information provided by you at the time of order submission. No modifications to the e-invoice will be possible once issued.

30. Please note that for made-to-order Products, payment is due immediately, and delivery to our carrier may take up to one hundred and twenty (120) days.

31. Purchased Products shall be delivered exclusively by a courier service selected by us (the “Courier”) to the delivery address specified by you in the order form. We shall bear no responsibility or liability for delivery failures, delays, or issues arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or incorrect address details provided by you. Deliveries will not be made to P.O. boxes, freight forwarders, or hotels.

32. Products will only be dispatched once full payment has been received and cleared. In the event that full payment is not received, for any reason whatsoever, we reserve the right to delay or refuse dispatch of the Products without liability to you.

33. We will take all reasonable steps to deliver the Products within the estimated timeframes communicated to you during the checkout process, prior to order confirmation. However, delivery times are indicative only and may be affected by force majeure events, circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or other unforeseeable events. If delivery has not occurred within thirty (30) days of the Order Acceptance (excluding made-to-order Products), you shall be entitled to cancel the Contract, and we shall refund, without undue delay, all sums paid under the Contract.

34. Upon delivery of the Products by the Courier, you (or your designated recipient) are required to: (i) verify that the number of packages delivered corresponds to that indicated on the delivery note; (ii) verify that the packages and their seals are intact, undamaged, not wet, and not otherwise altered; (iii) verify that the delivered Products conform to the style, model, color, size, and other characteristics specified in the Order Confirmation/Acceptance; (iv) sign the delivery note; and (v) if requested by the Courier, present a valid official identification document.

35. Any damage to the packaging and/or Products, discrepancies in the number of packages or documentation, or any lack of conformity of the Products must be immediately recorded in writing on the Courier’s delivery note at the time of delivery. Once the delivery note has been signed without reservation, you shall be deemed to have accepted the delivery, and no subsequent claims relating to the delivered packages will be admissible.

36. You may track the status of your shipment through the Courier’s website using the tracking information provided.

37. Risk of loss of, damage to, or destruction of the Products shall pass to you upon physical possession of the Products by you (or a person designated by you, other than the Courier) at the delivery address provided.

38. Title to the Products shall pass to you on the date the Products are delivered to the delivery address specified in your order.

39. You have the statutory right to withdraw from or cancel the Contract within fourteen (14) days from the date on which you (or your designated recipient) take physical possession of the Products. Any use, alteration, modification, or removal of labels or tags originally affixed to the Products upon delivery shall be deemed an express waiver of your right of withdrawal.

40. The right of withdrawal does not apply to: (i) personalized Products, including those monogrammed or otherwise customized for you; (ii) Products made-to-measure or manufactured to your specifications; (iii) Products purchased during Private Sales or other promotional sales organized by Maison Julien Fournié; (iv) Products sold at an exceptional discount specifically granted to you; (v) Products that are perishable, subject to rapid deterioration, or expiration; (vi) Products that, by their nature, cannot be returned; (vii) Products excluded from return for hygiene or health protection reasons; and (viii) any other Products expressly identified as “non-returnable” at the time of order submission.

41. Certain Products are strictly classified as “non-returnable.” This category includes, without limitation, Products subject to the CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) procedure, as well as any other Products expressly identified as non-returnable at the time of purchase.

42. To exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from the Contract within the period specified in Section 39. Notification must be made by email to our Consumer Service department. Upon receipt of your email, you will be provided with a return form, which must be duly completed. Compliance with this procedure is a strict condition for the valid exercise of your right of withdrawal.

43. You must return the Products within two (2) calendar days from the date on which you received the return form.

44. Returned Products must be in their original condition: unaltered, unused, undamaged, in their original packaging, with all original tags and labels intact, and accompanied by all accessories, certificates, and related documentation.

45. Should any returned Product fail to meet the conditions set forth in Sections 39, 40, 41, 42, and 43, such Product will be rejected and returned to you at the address indicated on the return form, or, if that address is invalid, to the address provided at the time of order placement. Such return will occur within thirty (30) days from the date on which we notified you of the rejection, unless delayed by a force majeure event, circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or other unforeseeable events.

46. Refunds will be limited to the amounts actually paid by you for the Product(s). Delivery charges, customs duties, and taxes paid in connection with your purchase will not be refunded. Refunds will be made net of any taxes, duties, or shipping costs that we are required to bear in connection with the return. Refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) days from the date on which we receive the returned Products, using the same payment method employed for the original transaction. We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount to reflect any diminished value of the Products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

47. The Julien Fournié boutique offers gift cards. Gift cards may be used as a method of payment for any items available in the boutique. The value of the gift card will be deducted from the purchase price, and any remaining balance must be paid using one of the accepted payment methods. Gift cards are non-refundable after thirty (30) days from the date of purchase and remain valid indefinitely. If the full value of the gift card is not used in a single transaction, the remaining balance will remain available for future purchases but cannot be refunded. In the event of a return of a Product purchased in whole or in part with a gift card, the refunded amount will be re-credited to the gift card account and will remain available for future purchases only. In such cases, any applicable return shipping costs may be deducted from the balance of the gift card.

48. These General Terms, and any Contracts entered into pursuant thereto, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.

49. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these General Terms or any Contract shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.

By placing an order on the Website, you (“you,” “your,” the “Customer”) expressly acknowledge and agree to be bound by these General Terms, as amended from time to time. These General Terms apply exclusively to all contracts entered into between Maison Julien Fournié and the Customer, to the exclusion of any other terms or conditions, unless expressly agreed in writing by Maison Julien Fournié.

Maison Julien Fournié reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend, update, or replace these General Terms in whole or in part at any time. The version in force at the time of order placement shall apply to the relevant contract.

These General Terms are intended to ensure that all transactions are conducted under clear, enforceable, and legally binding conditions, thereby protecting both the Customer and Maison Julien Fournié.

The present General Conditions of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these General Terms or any contract concluded hereunder shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.
