Tim Cook’s surprise<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

Tim Cook, the tech honcho on Monday paid a surprise visit to Fourni\u00e9\u2019s Paris atelier, where they discussed ways to merge high-technology and fashion, according to the fashion label. Julien Fourni\u00e9 has used an iPad Pro and Apple<\/a> Pencil to sketch his fashion illustrations since the product was launched in late 2015, the firm said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julien Fourni\u00e9<\/a> founded his label in 2009 after previously serving as creative director of Paris couture house Torrente and working alongside designers including Jean Paul Gaultier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tech connection might seem unclear at first, but here\u2019s a hint: Since 2011, Fourni\u00e9 has partnered with Dassault Syst\u00e8mes \u2014 a software company specialized in 3-D design \u2014 on FashionLab, a technology incubator dedicated to fashion and luxury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
