Chlo\u00e9 Chaume and H\u00e9lo\u00efse Mas were in Julien Fourni\u00e9 Haute Couture<\/a> in front of some 8000 spectators of the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre antique d’Orange, during the Musiques en f\u00eate opening of the Chor\u00e9gies d’Orange 2022<\/a>. This program, presented by Judith Chaine and Cyril F\u00e9raud, was broadcast on France 3 and simultaneously on France Musique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two sopranos interpreted “The Duet of the Cats”, a piece generally attributed to Gioachino Rossini but which was not, in fact, written by him, but consists of a compilation written in 1825 taking up, among other things, passages of his opera of 1816 Otello. They were accompanied by the National Orchestra of Cannes under the direction of Didier Benetti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
